Terms of service

Last updated

The terms you agree to when you use this site or place an order with us.

About these terms

This site is operated by Walnur Furniture Pty Ltd. By browsing it or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We may update them, and the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you an order confirmation, and a contract is formed at that point.

We may decline an order — because an item is unavailable, because a price or description was wrong, or because we cannot deliver to the address. If we decline after payment, you are refunded in full.

We try to keep prices and product information accurate. If an error is obvious and material, we will contact you before proceeding rather than quietly filling the order at the wrong price.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery is shown separately at checkout.

Payment is taken in full at the time of order unless a different arrangement is stated on the product page. Ownership of the goods passes to you when payment clears and the item is delivered.

Product descriptions and photography

Solid timber varies. Grain, colour and figure differ from board to board, and pieces will not be identical to the photograph. That variation is a property of the material, not a defect.

Screens render colour differently. Where colour matters, order a sample before committing to a large piece.

Dimensions are given to the nearest centimetre and may vary slightly. Where a measurement is critical to your space, ask us and we will confirm it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to an item is limited to replacing it, repairing it, or refunding what you paid for it.

We are not liable for loss caused by using an item in a way it was not intended for, by failing to follow care instructions, or by assembly carried out by someone other than us or our carrier.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
